The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ Australia Service Centre has launched a web page on the Australian lds.org.au website. The web address for the Australia Service Centre page is lds.org.au/services.
The web site has several functions. It provides details for priesthood leaders who need to contact Service Centre staff, a breakdown of what departments do, and who to contact. Most importantly, it also includes a new training section.
In December a new secure internet Child Protection program will be launched for local units. Instructions on how to use the program will be posted on the site.
In the future more training information will be added to the site to assist priesthood leaders in their responsibilities.
